Tribute Service for WWII Veteran

Good afternoon Comrades

The Legion is doing a Tribute for a WWII veteran on Saturday November 18th. The Tribute will take place at Beechwood Cemetery at 15:00 hrs

Ken Pergantes served with the RCAF during WWII and died in Kentucky. He will be brought back to Ottawa and interned in the Veterans section of Beechwood cemetery.

Unfortunately there is no family so I am hoping that there will be a good representation from the Legion on that day to pay our final respects.

We will assemble at the Beechwood office by 14:45 Hrs and proceed to the grave from there.
