Final Reminder – Bursaries Available from the Orleans Legion

FINAL REMINDER – BURSARIES AVAILABLE FROM THE ORLEANS LEGION

Graduating students may qualify to receive a bursary toward their post-secondary education from the Royal Canadian Legion Orleans Branch 632. Eligibility for the bursaries:

• Canadian and Commonwealth War veterans and their children and grandchildren

• Ordinary members (veterans) of the Royal Canadian Legion and their children and grandchildren

• Students must reside within the Orleans Legion Poppy Boundary

INFORMATION FOR HIGH SCHOOL AND POST-SECONDARY STUDENTS: ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BURSARY INFORMATION

Eligibility: ● Ex-service personnel or currently serving members of The Canadian Forces (Regular, Reserve, and Merchant Navy) or their spouse, child, or grandchild.

● Commonwealth war veterans or their spouse, child, or grandchild.

● An Ordinary and Life member of The Royal Canadian Legion or their spouse, child, or grandchild.

● An Associate member of The Royal Canadian Legion or their child.

● A member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary or a child or grandchild of an LA member.

● Stepchildren and step grandchildren may also be considered where applicable.

The deadline for submission for either application is the last Friday of March in any year.
